Lao Art Week welcomes artists to share their vision and be part of our annual programme. We support a wide range of creative expressions, including exhibitions, workshops, talks, and performances.

Who Can Apply?

For Lao Artists:

Eligible to apply for exhibition space and venue support. Lao artists may also request a mini-grant to support the production of their work.

For International Artist:

International artists, as well as those based in Laos, are welcome to submit proposals to be considered as part of the programme. Please note that financial support cannot be provided for international participants.

All applicants will be notified by 25 February.

Creation

Selected proposal work on their projects from March to June.

Conclusion

The annual programme closes on 30 July.

How to Apply?

Please follow these steps carefully:

Prepare your application materials, which must include:
- A CV
- A portfolio of past work
- A project proposal (clearly explaining the concept, format, and expected outcome of your project)
- For Lao artists: clearly state if you wish to request a mini-grant for production support.
Send your application by email to exhibition@laoartweek.org.
Use the following subject line format for your email:
LAW-Proposal-[Your Name] (for example: LAW-Proposal-Somchit Phanhalath)

Important Notes

Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
Only complete applications (CV, portfolio, project proposal, and funding request if applicable) will be reviewed.
All proposals will be evaluated by the Lao Art Week curatorial team.
